Car with horse trailer overturned on motorway

Monday evening on the A2 near Echt, a car towing a horse trailer overturned after a collision with another vehicle. The animal ran off but was later caught. We were asked to help, to take the horse safely back home.

The accident happened around 20:30 hours on the motorway on the Maastricht-bound carriageway. The reason the two cars collided is as yet unknown. One of the cars landed on its roof. A woman was slightly injured in the accident.

Field
The horse bolted and ran over the motorway to a field close by. There, the animal was quickly able to be contained and later loaded into a trailer.
